On-farm semen collection

Collection for freezing under 200 straws is $7.00 per straw
Collection for freezing 200+ straws is $5.50 per straw
For larger quantities, please contact the office for a quote
$200.00 is charged if no freezable semen is collected
Farm visit fee for less than 100 straws is $200.00
Travel is charged at $1.30 per km but we try and work in a run to share the cost

Bull evaluation

1-5 bulls is $70.00 per bull
1-10 bulls is $55.00 per bull
11-20 bulls is $50.00 per bull
20+ bulls is $45.00 per bull
For 100+ bulls, please contact the office for a quote

On-centre semen collection

Entry fee is $800.00 per bull
Semen collection for 1-4,000 straws is $3.70 per straw
For over 4,000 straws per bull, please contact the office for a quote
Daily agistment fee is $8.00 per day
Bull codes and DNA are charged at cost

Storage (all species)

Semen and embryo storage is charged out in arrears annually in February.

Semen storage is 80c per straw per year, or a minimum charge of $70.00 per year
Embryo storage is $2.00 per embryo per year, or a minimum charge of $70.00 per year
Unit maintenance is $800.00 per year for those who own an on-centre storage tank

Despatch

All prices exclude GST, are current as of May 2021 and are subject to change without notification.

Despatch fee is $60.00
A large or urgent despatch fee is $100.00
International despatch is $150.00
Liquid nitrogen is $7.00 per litre
Unit hire is $5.00 per day or $35.00 per week
